Sam S. Rosen leads the Corporate, Business, Intellectual Property, Labor/Employment, Tech Law and Litigation practices at RLG.  

Mr. Rosen has an all-encompassing legal and business experience as an attorney in New York City law firms, private practice, and as General Counsel to multi-million dollar Internet corporations, preceded by a senior accounting and auditing positions at PricewaterhouseCoopers. 

 

Mr. Rosen has published numerous legal articles about corporations, LLCs, and Internet issues, and is a Winner of the 1999 ASCAP Award in Copyright Law. 

 

In 2014, Mr. Rosen was named a finalist in the Attorney of the Year Category of the SmartCEO magazine CPA & ESQ AWARDS and profiled in the July-August 2014 issue of the magazine.

Melissa Werger Rosen leads the Immigration and Citizenship practice at RLG.  Ms. Werger Rosen practices exclusively in the field of immigration and nationality law.

Ms. Werger Rosen began her career in the field of immigration in 1987, working with Central American asylum seekers and at Harvard Law School on a study of the political asylum system in the U.S.  

 

Following law school graduation in 1992, Ms. Werger Rosen clerked for Justice Denise Johnson of the Vermont Supreme Court. 

 

In 1995, Ms. Werger Rosen became one of two immigration staff attorneys at a nonprofit Legal Services Fund which served the 85,000+ members of a large maintenance workers union in downtown Manhattan.  In 1998 she was made Supervising Attorney of the Fund’s nascent Immigration Unit, and as such she grew the department to a staff of 13, and was personally responsible for supervision of all 2,500+ immigration cases open in the Unit at any given time.  In June of 2006, Ms. Werger Rosen left the Fund to go into private practice.

 

Ms. Werger Rosen also worked in the field of Latin American human rights both before and during law school.  In 1990 she worked with the Chief Prosecutor for the Federal Appeals Court of Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the prosecution of an ex-general who had been the military commander of Buenos Aires province during Argentina’s ‘dirty war’.  In 1991 she was awarded a fellowship from the Instituto Interamericano de Derechos Humanos in San Jose, Costa Rica, to participate in its Ninth Interdisciplinary Seminar on Human Rights. 

 

Ms. Werger Rosen is fluent in Spanish.

Education:  JD cum laude, Boston College Law School; Recipient White Inker & Aronson Award for Community and Public Service.  B.A. cum laude, Tufts University. 

Membership: American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
